Shopping and coming home to try on my new purchases.
Listen to good 'epic' style soundtracks like from the 'Last Samurai'. I know, it's kinda lame-ass but it picks me up dude.
I sing out loud to Celine Dion's "That's The Way It Is"! LOL...If at all, you'll find me in a karaoke joint belting it all out!
When im feeling down,
I call old friends in Sarawak whom I havent heard from in a while and have a heart to heart talk to let it all out
When im feeling stressed,
I go out to partayyy with my gurls :P flirt at hot guys and come home tired, but happy
i take a shower. it is the one most refreshing pasttime in the world. good place to do some thinking, too.
I'll just watch a ton of movies and be carried away with all the emotions rushing in. I forget about my problems for a while. I tend to pick up a few lessons from those movies and keep them in mind to pick myself up again. I write them and paste them on my walls. Smiles for me and cry if i need to.
Go for a huge buffet, eat for 4 hours continously, have a few glasses of belinis in between, go to bed feeling like a king :)
Chocolate, blood and shopping sprees :D
walking in the rain. (doesn't give me a boost.. but it's fun still)
Karaoke. Nothing beats singing I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU (or any Whitney songs) to your heart's content.
Spend. Spend it all. Clothes, shoes, makeup, slimming programmes, karaoke, buffets, booze. It doesn't really matter where it goes, so long as it goes. The money I mean.
i remembered when i was soo stressed up when i was in uni a couple of years back, what i did was go to the toilet and started brushing my teeth. and during that phase, i can brush my teeth up to ard 8 times a day.
but for now, when i'm down i just prefer to be alone, wander endlessly everywhere... or at most, sleep the whole day, and i'll wake up feeling much much better
Eat. And eat. And eat.
Wah shit. That explains the size.
Why retail therapy of course!!
Turn on a good CD and pretend I'm dining with the ladies of "Sex & The City"

Surprised u havent blogged on the C'wealth Games opening ceremony, Edwin. Bet u watched it on telly. Melbourne was ablazed with glory....was almost blinded by all that fireworks and pyrotechnic display ! Didnt need to pay AUD$500 for a seat at the MCG....big screen displays by the Yarra River and Fed Square were enuf! Enjoy the sports events to come, Edwin. As they say here in Oz, " OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE ! OY! OY! OY! "

CCM! Hello. Missed the Opening Ceremony. Busy this whole week. Can you believe that? I saw the pictures in the papers. I'm sure I missed on helluva opening. Looked similar to the Athens opening.

buy buy buy spend spend spend and then regret the purchases made.
baking! i'd just whip something from whatever it is i have and then feed everyone else.
reading - books, papers, blogs.
to remind the self that there are worse things happening out there.
pen postcards, letters, scribbling paper and mail them to random addresses.
(i've stopped doing that now, for fear that i'll be accused of insanity.)
watching cartoons helps too.
The suspense is killing me! When are u gonna rip open those 'creative sleeves' and let us see what's up them? What does a '100-watt lightbulb' diva do to up the wattage....i bet it's something that will flabbergast us, and make that bulb glow with dangerous intensity ! Tell la, tell la....and soon....the chiuchowmui's feet are hoppin' up and down with curiosity!

It used to be watch sad movies and just cry like an idiot to myself... but now, i'll dance at my gym (or even in my room)! hehe... dancing keeps my mind away from EVERYTHING and it makes me smile for no reason. =)
Treat myself to a fine meal at a fine dining place. No mapley when I'm down~

Best therapy for a sh*&^#@!!y day is to have a BIG CLEANOVER MOMENT. A major scrub down under a hot shower, top to toe, making sure u work all that body scrub and lather into every bodily crevice and fold !! And every strand of hair must be squeaky clean ! After that, a clean towelling down b4 slipping into soft clean comfy Ts and tracks. To finish off, a lovely latte and a good book, music in the background. Hmmmm....

Blast the radio, watch a super funny comedy... and last but not least, retail therapy. Most of the time i just blast the music as loud as possible :)
do yoga or have coffee with a friend who will allow me to wallow in self- pity for all of five minutes, then order me to pull myself together.
retail therapy helps, but most of the time I tumble back down that dark stairwell again when I realise I don't like any of my new stuff after all!

i cry a lot. and alone. sometimes call a good friend and cry to her. doesn't really give me much boost, but it helps me in totally letting steam off. i write too. sometimes in my blog, mostly in my journal. or simply lock myself in my room, and think of how things could have been if it were different.
when my mom passed away last year, my two good friends and my bf was with me the whole day. after the prayers and funeral and the crying, they brought me out for lunch, and we just hang out for a bit. we didn't talk about my mom... but they were there for me. i got home, and my auntie gave me a pinch for not helping out with the kenduri we have afterwards. oh well. i mourn the way i mourn.
ohmygod, sorry edwin, this should be a blog entry... so long!
just discovered another way today... double D's... drinking and dancing... it was darn good :)
among the things i'd do if i was having a bad day
~dance, sing, take a long walk at night, read a book, blog, or listen to music~ depending which i have the time for ;)
er... if it's not after some heartbreak. me thinks having sex was the most loved thing to do.. now, it's just actually finding time to catch up with friends and sleeping... zzzz... finding time first. If after some breakup, then singing to some sad tune and crying till the moon rises and the sun sets. :P
All is good Elmira. It took me close to 3 years before I got used to losing my father. It gets better with each year. Thank you for sharing.

Wait... I don't get your question. So is it when I'm down, what is the thing I most love to do? Or just what I love to do the most? You said it was a boost, but does it mean that it's only one of the directions, or the ONLY direction? Hmmm...
You decide which it is. If you have an answer for every one of your definitions then go for it. Would love to read your 'loved' thing (s).
I'll select a good playlist, set my iPod to almost its full volume and just wriggle and dance, like nobody and everybody is watching; if there's a mirror, even better... Collapsing in tired giggles and being able to laugh at oneself can be refreshing. Hee.. that usually works out all the negative knots in me lah :)
